I just wanted to say to all you guys out there, and not just people in The Community, that I've seriously enjoyed the year with you. 2/3 2010 may not be the best, or the most outstanding class around, but I've really enjoyed myself and felt a strong sense of belonging to the class. This year might not have ended in the way we wanted, but hey.

I'm sure that the year has been full of ups and down, as well as bitter-sweet moments for everyone. But I just wanted to say a loud 'Thank you' to all those who've stuck with me through thick and thin, and a big 'Screw you' to those who haven't.

So even if 2010 might not have turned out the way we wanted, but the important thing is to just forget about the past and focus on the future. We've still got a full year ahead of us; a full year to accomplish what we've wanted; a full year to fulfill our dreams; a full year to celebrate the joys in life.
Instead of moaning and ranting on about how life sucks, why don't we all try to take just 5 minutes and reflect back on the past year and count our blessings. At least we made it through the year alive, thats a blessing, ain't it? I'm sure we could all find a little peace in our lives, and try to create and shape a better future for the coming years ahead.
Even though we are all (well, majority) of us are about to take our Mother Tongue 'O' Level examinations next year, with many tough and unknown challenges that lie ahead of us, lets come together and work with each other to overcome these obstacles as friends.
So to end off, I just wanna wish all Commonwealthians, all members of The Community as well as my friends and family a peaceful and prosperous year ahead. May your wishes come true and your dreams be granted as we usher in 2011!

Actually, I've been watching a Korean TV series called 'Horror Movie Factory'. The aim of this TV series is to improve the girl's drama and acting skills throught various lessons thought throughout the series. The girls are put into scenarios where they have to face certain scary obstacles in order to gain techniques such as controlling their emotions or being able to express their feelings.
In short, they get the sh*t scared out of them.
But hey, I ain't complaining! Its rather interesting to watch their reactions as they go along the courses and overcome their fears and emotional challenges. Hearing Taeyeon scream's an added bonus too. I suggest you guys go watch this TV series. It may sound lame, but its actually quite cool.

Here I am. After nearly a week of absence. Me mum's been keeping strict tabs on my computer usage time(as usual), so getting to post is rather tough in the current circumstances.......
But anyways, I'm back, and a certain malay *cough*Faris Izzudin son of Mohummad A*d*t*cough, isn't posting at all.
Your last post was a month long, dude! Does it take you so damn frikkin long to post?!
Damn, man......if you're reading this, you'd better get posting before Vijay gets here and suns you. And I'm serious.
Will it kill you to post at least weekly? This blog seems to have only Vijay and my posts........and rather empty of yours.
Don't try to give me any b*llsh*t about having CCA, cuz I ain't buying that sh*t. And don't tell me you have tuition either. From my current knowledge, no tuition schedule has ever been so damn tight that you can't even get half an hour to post or even use the computer.
So you'd better provide a valid excuse within a week for your frikkin long absence or me and Vijay are gonna make sure that you end up having a little less skin than you'd expected.

You mentioned that you were planning to release it to the whole world. Now we have a problem.
You see(pardon my maths, though), assuming that you do take a day jobat McDonalds and you earn $3 an hour. According to my calculations, if you work at this rate for 7 hours a day and for 7 days a week, in 2 months the amount of money earned won't be nearly enough for printing half the amount of books.
Look. I ain't trying to demoralise you or anything, but if you're planning to publicise your book to the entire world, then that might be a unachievable goal. I'm trying to be realistic here. Maybe you should consider setting the viewing audience a little lower, if you know what I mean. Maybe it should just be read by Commonwealthians.........or Singaporeans, at most.
Most big-time authors have financial backing and support, or otherwise sponsoring and subsidiaries by the government. But we're just kids, you know? I mean, what can a group of Secondary school kids who haven't even achieved our 'O' Level certificates do? I don't mind helping you design the layout and other aspects of the book, but I just suppose we should wait till we complete our education before we start to publish it. But I don't mind if we start designing and planning the book beforehand.
Damn, I hope my calculations are wrong........I really do.
But anyways, I'll still need some more time in compiling the list of suggested titles and the suggested book cover. Shall I post the list on Facebook for people to vote? The title which received the most votes is gonna be the official title of our book. And maybe how about a poll? We could ask people who are interested to submit their suggestions and ideas for the construction of this book before making final decisions. All this is up to you, Vijay. Once I've received the green light from you, I'll proceed as planned, and I really hope this is gonna turn out well.

Christine's birthday party last Friday wasn't as boring as I imagined it would be. Played three-a-side beach soccer. Me, Gim Bin and Aaron versus Zhen Bang, Kok Pin, and Kian Hui. My side won 10-6 after full-time. Isn't as easy as it seemed, though. Your feet is gonna sink all the way into the sand, making play rather difficult.Its tiring, especially if you're gonna be playing in the blistering hot afternoon. But it makes for a nice change.

Christine's birthday party last Friday wasn't as boring as I imagined it would be. Played three-a-side beach soccer. Me, Gim Bin and Aaron versus Zhen Bang, Kok Pin, and Kian Hui. My side won 10-6 after full-time. Isn't as easy as it seemed, though. Your feet is gonna sink all the way into the sand, making play rather difficult.Its tiring, especially if you're gonna be playing in the blistering hot afternoon. But it makes for a nice change.

i'm back.
It seems that it has been a long time.
Just finished talking to Aloy a few moments ago.
Now to get down to business.
I noticed there has been a lot of spam(or shit) on the tagboard by "i don't know who". I am settling that and hopefully the admin can do something about it. As from what i seen, they keep increasing.
Also, I would also like to say that I am sorry for not posting for so long. Even though I have posted quite a bit, I am still shy of what I expect to post in a few days. So there's my apology. I am sorry.
Vijay, you mentioned that you wanted to write a book. Let me tell you, it might seem hard at first, but I'm confident you will pull this off. I've met few people that have written books before(relax though, its not a bigshot like J.K Rowling or such) and they do tell me that a draft(lots of it) is really important and crumpled pieces of paper containing ideas will be plenty.
I also think e-books are gay.

Oh yeah, I might be taking the 20km cycle, the non-competitive one, because the fee for the 40km race is bloody expensive. $80 for a goodie bag, a cycling jersey, enabling to cycle on closed roads, to attend a concert, free parking space for bicycles and such is attractive, but I can't even cough up that much money at the moment. Still undecided, but yeah.
I have started my workout, can't tell you what I do, but yes, its to test my problematic left knee. Not many people know this but I do have a problem with my knee. It is too strained after an exercise or too loose when I walk. It cracks massively( as in the"crack!" sound, not cracking of bones) occasionaly. I don't feel confident to cycle long distances at the moment. I stay at 15km for now.

Anyways, starting a new project of Vijay. He plans on publishing a book based on his time spent here in Commonwealth. And he ain't the one whos gonna be in the spotlight; its gonna be about us, as in his friends and people he was close to during his time here. I'm here to give some comments, as well as some suggestions on how we are gonna get started on this project.
First off, you must consider who your audience is. Do you plan on printing this book just for your close friends, or is it meant for a larger viewing audience? Determining this will help save time and efforts spent on printing and publishing excess copies that no one is gonna read. It will also help save money and resources.
Next, I will suggest printing it as a softcover format. I'm quite sure we do not have enough money to be able to print hardcover editions. E-books can provide a hassle-free and cheaper alternative, though I think our viewing audiences will prefer a softcover book.
Also,we will most probably be faced with the issue of acquiring a print-on-demand publisher, who use highend copiers to produce pages instead of printing on traditional, ink-based offset printing equipment. Vijay, this you will no doubt have already been informed, but I just wanted to highlight these important points to you. If we were to underestimate these factors, it might undermine the entire publishing process. So I hope we will all be able to provide solutions to overcome these potential problems.
I strongly suggest that we go to a local offset printer and oversee all the steps in the process personally. As for this role, I feel that those in Singapore will handle all these logistical issues, while you, as the author of this book, shall just oversee and supervise our activity from India. I don't think we should have a print-on-demand company to handle the layout, printing and production activities, as its probably gonna cost us a bomb. Some shops offer perfect binding so that it looks just like a printed book. This is crucial as a book's marketing value weighs heavily on appearance, and shoddy design layouts aren't gonna be earning us anything.
We ought to familiarize ourselves on the printing costs. Extras are charged for layout help, editing, designing of the book cover and for photos. Editing and designing shouldn't be a problem, as I want to handle and oversee these processes myself. I reckon costs for printing services and materials are gonna range form $70-$200+, nut it all depends on how many copies do you want, actually. So we can all pitch in and help out for this project after tallying up the costs.
